Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to use Autera. We aim to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA standard, we have built the site and app with accessibility in mind, and if anything is hard to use we want to hear about it and fix it.
1. Our commitment
FrameLogic Limited is committed to making getautera.com and the Autera web and mobile apps accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. Accessibility is part of how we build and review the product, not an afterthought.
2. The standard we aim for
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We are not legally required to meet this standard (the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018 apply to public sector sites, not private businesses), but we have chosen it as our target because it is the recognised benchmark for accessible web content. We are working towards full conformance and are not yet able to claim it on every page.
3. What we have done
- Semantic HTML structure with headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can navigate the content.
- Keyboard access to interactive elements, with visible focus styles.
- Text and interface colours chosen to meet AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
- Form fields with associated labels and clear error messages.
- Responsive layouts that work down to small screens and reflow without horizontal scrolling.
- Captioned, non-flashing interface animations, with no content that flashes more than three times per second.
- A cookie banner where accepting and rejecting are equally easy.
4. Known limitations
We are honest about the areas we are still improving. At the date of this statement we are aware of the following:
- Third-party content. Some embedded tools, such as the Calendly demo-booking widget and the Stripe payment forms, are provided by third parties. We choose accessible providers where we can, but we do not control their interfaces.
- Uploaded documents. PDFs, photos and certificates uploaded by workshops or generated from their data may not all be fully tagged for screen readers.
- Complex data tables. A small number of dense tables and dashboards are easier to use with a larger screen.
Where you hit one of these, please contact us (see section 6) and we will provide the information or function you need in an accessible format.
5. Compatibility
The site and web app are designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox) and with common assistive technologies, including screen readers and browser zoom up to 200%. The Autera iOS and Android apps support the operating system accessibility features on those platforms, such as Dynamic Type, VoiceOver and TalkBack.
6. Reporting a problem
If you find something on getautera.com or in the Autera app that is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please tell us:
Email: hello@getautera.com
Postal: FrameLogic Limited, 58 Rochester Avenue, Feltham, TW13 4EJ, United Kingdom
Please describe the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five working days and to fix confirmed issues as quickly as we reasonably can.
7. About this statement
This statement was prepared by FrameLogic Limited based on our own review of the site and app against WCAG 2.2 AA. It has not yet been independently audited. We review it as the product changes and update the date at the top when we do.
