When you add a vehicle to Autera, we look up the registration against DVLA and pull the current MOT expiry date automatically. You do not have to type it in. The expiry date stays in sync, so if a customer MOTs the car somewhere else, we still know.

Reminders go out automatically by email, by text, or both at 30, 14, 7 and 1 days before MOT expiry. You can change the schedule, change the wording, or turn them off per customer. MOT reminders are part of the Workshop plan (£79/month) and above; Starter accounts can see the MOT-due dashboard, and the Solo plan focuses on the core tools. Texts come out of your monthly allowance, and you can top up if you need more.
