Yes, from the billing page, and you are never charged twice for the same days. Upgrades apply immediately and the adjustment appears on your next invoice rather than being taken on the day. Downgrades also apply immediately, so the features of the higher plan stop at that point and you are credited for the time you had not used.

Solo includes 20 jobs a month and Starter 40. Workshop and Multi-Bay have no job limit. You get a banner inside Autera as you approach the limit, and if you reach it, creating new jobs pauses until the month resets or you upgrade. Everything already in Autera stays available and readable throughout, and nothing is ever charged without you choosing it. Upgrading applies immediately from the billing page, so you are never stuck waiting on us.

Autera Assist drafts a clear, professional job description from a few details, so you are not rewriting the same paragraph every time. Every plan includes a monthly allowance: 30 on Solo, 200 on Starter, 600 on Workshop and 2,000 on Multi-Bay. Need more in a busy month? Optional top-up packs are there if you want them, never forced and never auto-charged. SMS MOT reminders are live and included on Starter (50 texts a month), Workshop (150) and Multi-Bay (400).

Yes. Pay annually and get two months free, a saving of about 17% compared with monthly billing. The annual price equates to 10 months of monthly fees on Starter, Workshop and Multi-Bay plans. Solo is free either way.

No. The price you see is the price you pay. FrameLogic Limited, which operates Autera, is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to your subscription and there is none for you to reclaim.

We charge per workshop, never per login. Every paid plan includes unlimited mechanics and unlimited admin users at no extra cost: Starter £29, Workshop £79 and Multi-Bay £149 a month, whatever the size of your team. The free Solo plan is the one exception and covers a single mechanic, you. There are no per-seat fees of any kind. Extra sites are the only team-size add-on, at £49/month each on Workshop and Multi-Bay.

A mechanic is anyone who clocks on jobs and records time on the shop floor, the people turning wrenches. An admin user is anyone else with a login: a manager, parts desk staff, accountant, receptionist or read-only viewer. On every paid plan both are unlimited and neither costs extra, so the difference is only about what someone can do in Autera, never what they cost. The free Solo plan is the exception: one mechanic, no separate admin logins. If the same person does both (common for owner-operators who fix cars AND run the business), the owner login covers both jobs.

Every paid plan starts with a 14 day free trial. A card is taken when the trial starts and nothing is charged until the 14 days are up, so cancelling before then costs you nothing. You get the full feature set for two weeks. If you decide it is not for you, walk away. If you continue, we charge the plan rate from day 15 onward.
